Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Michael Richards, Courtney Love have been masters of destroying lucrative celebrity careers, but they’ve been trumped by Kathy Griffin’s recent lunacy—and the news is not get any better for the 56-year-old comedian. Not only have more show cancellations been announced, now her website is offline because of the bombardment of hundreds of angry messages coming in.
Griffin stated she doesn’t “think I will have a career” after she released a controversial video and photo of her laughing at a replicated severed and bloody head resembling President Donald Trump. CNN moved quickly to terminate her contract to appear on their annual New Year’s Eve program. Squatty Potty, a footstool company, dropped her as their spokesperson.

This is not the first time Griffin has been axed because of her outrageousness. In 2005 she was terminated from her red-carpet commentator position on E! Network. Her joke crossed the line when during Golden Globe Awards she reported child actress Dakota Fanning had checked into rehab.
In 2007, while accepting an Emmy for her Bravo reality series, “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List,” she stated that “a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus.”
Then she held up her trophy and yelled, “Suck it, Jesus. THIS is my God now!”
