The president is not caving in.

The cost of the new regulations has dropped from an average of $26 billion to $33 million.

President Donald J. Trump’s constant pounding against the Washington establishment and left-wing media is proving to be an effective means to “make America great again.” The president is not caving in to knocking them off their pedestals.

Mainstream media (MSM) and political enemies take every opportunity to press Trump on his social media comments and tweets. But White House press secretary Sean Spicer said the president “is the most effective messenger on his agenda…” and social media provides the president “an opportunity to speak straight to the American people, which has proved to be a very, very effective tool.”

Anger from the Washington Cartel doesn’t discourage Trump supporters and there is evidence some of the MSM may be getting the message. The Washington Times quoted Los Angeles civil right advocate Ted Hayes this week, ““It’s good for them to recognize that they can no longer be the Pantheon of Gods of the First Amendment.”

“They keep talking about their First Amendment, but what about our First Amendment? They are abusing the First Amendment,” Hayes, also an advocate for the homeless, said. “I think what Donald Trump is doing is teaching them a lesson. All other politicians should learn the same thing from him.”

“The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media,” Trump tweeted last week. “They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out.”

He followed up with another tweet: “Sorry folks, but if I would have relied on the Fake News of CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, washpost or nytimes, I would have had ZERO chance winning WH.”

RECENT HEADLINES SHOW MORE ACCURACY IN REPORTING

“The cost of the new regulations has dropped from an average of $26 billion to $33 million, or just 0.12 of the past average for the first five months of the year.” – Washington Examiner

“On Monday, President Trump endorsed getting the job done by creating a private, non-profit corporation that would apply business principles and provide a steady stream of financing. This change would free air traffic control modernization from two major sources of delay: the bureaucratic process used to select contractors, and Congress’ crazy, on-again, off-again budget process that disrupts long-term planning.” – USA Today

“What the nation won’t do, thanks to the president, is devastate its own economy against the public’s wishes in order to satisfy the global elite. Count this as a major Trump promise kept.”

Pete Ricketts said Blue Cross’s decision “demonstrates the failure of Obamacare and how the system was so poorly designed that great companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield can’t stay in the marketplace. It highlights that Congress needs to act to make the health care system sustainable.” –The Omaha World-Herald
