Hollywood 2017 summer blockbusters have been a bust

Hollywood 2017. Liberal Hollywood is going down the tubes so fast that 2017 could be the lowest box office since the year such movies as “Basic Instinct,” “A League of Their Own” and “Wayne’s World” were released. Americans are tired of Tinsel Town celebrities irrationally placing their political ideologies ahead of credible business ethics. It’s to the point that the millions of citizens are no longer offended or feel isolated by Hollywood’s ‘politically correct’ games and narratives.

In the past two weekends, the movie “Detroit” earned only $7.7 million. This follows the same trends as “The Dark Tower,” “King Arthur,” Transformers 5,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 5,” “Monster Trucks,” “Life,” “Baywatch,” “Chips,” and “Rough Night”—all box office flops.

Tom Cruise’s “The Mummy,” Scarlett Johansson’s “Ghost in the Shell,” Tom Hanks’ “The Circle” or Will Ferrell in “The Office” didn’t help. “Nut Job 2” will likely be the historical biggest loser of a wide release of over 4,000 theaters for a studio movie. It barely made $8 million over the weekend.

Legendary director Steven Spielberg tried to advise the movie industry several years ago that relying on major blockbuster would be a mistake.

“That’s the big danger, and there’s eventually going to be an implosion — or a big meltdown,” Spielberg said. “There’s going to be an implosion where three or four or maybe even a half-dozen mega budget movies are going to go crashing into the ground, and that’s going to change the paradigm.”

Below is a list of Hollywood stars and other entertainers many movie goers and music fans are boycotting because of their outspoken liberal views.

Hollywood liberals love to voice their political opinions as if they relate to the everyday, average American. They hold themselves on an elite level, and act like we worship them. While many people are starstruck by celebrities, they only exist because of us. Once we turn off our televisions, boycott their movies, or not attend their performances, they cease to exist.
